The Underheugh Ark Rescue is an established animal charity based in the west coast of Scotland. The Underheugh Ark was set up by Stef and Calum and their farm gives the rescue its distinctive name.

Over the years the rescue grew and grew and gained charity status in January 2016.
​
The Rescue is now ran by a board of trustees which include Stef, Calum, Craig and William along with a team of dedicated volunteers.
​
The rescue helps many different kinds of animals with our main focus being dogs, cats, horses and hens but have wide variety of animals with us such as rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs,ducks , pigs, terrapins, budgies, cockatiels and turkeys!
FUNDING
The Underheugh Ark is funded solely by donations, we receive no government funding. All money received goes directly to helping the animals, as we are all volunteers, no one receives a salary so you can be assured that the money that you donate goes straight to the animals that you wish to help.
Saving one dog will not change the world, but for that one dog the world will change forever
